Professor Rockee Zhang received his PhD degree from University of Nebraska, Lincoln in 2004. He worked as a research scientist at Intelligent Automation Inc. from 2004 to 2006. He was a faculty member of school of electrical and computer engineering (ECE) at University of Oklahoma (OU) since 2007. He was one of the founding faculty members of the OU’s Advanced Radar Research Center (ARRC). Currently he is a presidential professor of OU-ECE and faculty leader of the Intelligent Aerospace Radar and Radio Team (IART). His research interest mainly focusses on the multi-mission, intelligent airborne and spaceborne radars for detection and monitoring weather and air-traffic. He has also been working on novel radar sensing solutions for Sense and Avoid (SAA), air-surveillance, counter-drone and ultra-wideband radars.
