"Over the summer, I was given the opportunity to research the different circuit model parameters for a conductor-backed slot antenna. Our motivation was that by solidifying our understanding of what the circuit model will look like, we can make slot antennas less computationally expensive. The main focus in completing the circuit model is the ideal transformer that describes the coupling between the slot and parallel plates and trying to arrive at a curve-fit formula for the 'N' in the 1:N ratio of an ideal transformer."

"My future plans are to further investigate what field of electrical engineering I'd like to work in and find a job at a company right after graduating college."
