Research

I am currently an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering. My current research with Dr. Jessica Ruyle consists of improving Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags to help Biologists track animals in their natural environment. I am focusing on finding the current threshold of a RFID tag due to a magnetic field created by an antenna. I am also involved  in helping Alex Moreno, an Electrical Engineering P.h.D student, on creating an open source Graphic User Interface (GUI)  for biologist to use as a tool to create complex antennas to achieve optimal reading range for the RFID tags.
